When MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell questioned if any of the just about 150 interviews executed by the 1/6 Committee contained Trump officers, Rep. Schiff answered:
They do incorporate people from the former administration. They contain people today in the private sector. They include things like men and women are experts in some of the — for instance, the social media problems that we’re investigating. So they operate the gamut.
But I believe what has been encouraging to us is because we have experienced the cooperation of men and women in the community and private sector we know what to talk to for. Rep. Schiff is confirming that without Trump in the White Property to the two threaten them from cooperating and obstruct for them if they don’t cooperate, former officials of his administration are flipping on the former president.
The former officials don’t all have funds like Trump and Steve Bannon, so they are coming ahead and not waiting around for a subpoena to arrive their way.
