1/6 Committee member, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) reported that the committee hasn’t produced a decision on subpoenaing Trump, but no one particular is off the table.

Schiff explained when questioned on MSNBC about potentially subpoenaing Trump:
I do not know the respond to to that. In the end, that will be a selection that we’ll make as a committee and our chair will announce if it will come to that. But one detail we are very uniform on, Democrats and Republicans on the select committee is that no a single is off the table. We will go exactly where we will need to go to get the evidence we need to present to the American people and publish a definitive report of the terror of that working day and what we need to do to guard the nation likely ahead.
And a single of the largest black phrases of the unknowns is Donald Trump’s job. We know that he incited the insurrection, but what was he performing on the working day of the insurrection? Why did not we have troops come to boost the Capitol more swiftly? And what did the president know about the propensity for violence that working day in the presence of these white nationalist groups. There are a large amount of unanswered concerns.
The Concept To Trump Is That The Committee Will Not Be Denied.
If the committee thinks that Trump has proof that they simply cannot get in other places, he will be subpoenaed. However, it bringing Trump in would be a waste of time, and the committee can get the proof from other sources, he will not.
It is great to listen to that a decision hasn’t been built on Trump simply because that suggests that the 1/6 Committee is conducting a major simple fact-collecting investigation.
The committee is going in which the evidence usually takes them, and if that road prospects to Trump, he will not be exempt from a subpoena.
