Pence on Monday told Fox News persona Sean Hannity that the media’s continued reporting on the Jan. 6 insurrection was supposed to “demean” the supporters of former President Donald Trump and distract consideration from Joe Biden’s presidency.
Cooper billed Pence with “trying to rewrite history and pave his way to his possess presidential run” and reminded the previous veep that Trump’s supporters had been in fact contacting for his dying for the duration of the violence.
“He lies in these an earnest way, does not he? Hmm. Steely eyes lies,” cracked Cooper. “Pence’s opinions are just the most recent in a hazardous whitewashed campaign by Republicans who seem to be moving the occasion further and additional from fact.”
