WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The congressional committee investigating the fatal Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol has delayed testimony by Jeffrey Clark, a previous senior formal at the Justice Department, mainly because he has retained a new law firm.

“Mr. Clark has been granted a brief postponement as a consequence of his retaining new counsel,” a committee aide stated on Friday.
