Mayfield endured the torn labrum in 7 days 2, but he aggravated the harm in Sunday’s reduction to Arizona. Immediately after Cardinals defensive close J.J. Watt drove Mayfield’s left shoulder into the turf, Mayfield stayed down for various minutes before coming back again in to finish the activity.

“If I am not in a position to … be 100 per cent, that is in which I would be out,” Mayfield said ahead of Tuesday’s exercise. “I have to make that selection. Only I know how my human body feels. If everyone thoughts whether I am hindering the workforce and likely out there wounded, which is just not right. It’s my decision. I get to say no matter if I am in a position to perform or not, and that is just how it is.”
