Emily Blunt and John Krasinski found genuine enjoy … in the kitchen!
In an interview with iHeartMedia’s River Cafe Table 4 podcast that premiered this week, Blunt jokingly claimed Krasinski proposed to her only immediately after she’d prepared Food items Network star Ina Garten’s roast hen recipe, which is extensively referred to as “engagement rooster.”
“I just designed one thing that I knew he would enjoy,” she recalled. “I mean, a roast chicken ― who does not adore a roast chicken? The roast rooster I enjoy is Ina Garten’s roast chicken, it’s named her ‘engagement rooster.’ When individuals make it for persons, they get engaged or some thing.”
And soon after serving the dish to Krasinski in all of its “oniony, garlicky” glory, Blunt reported she felt self-confident she’d won his heart.
“That’s it,” she quipped. “All it took!”

Though the “Devil Wears Prada” star did not say exactly when this meal party took position, she and Krasinski received married in 2010. The few share daughters Hazel, 7, and Violet, 5.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have never ever commented on what recipe they were producing, but did say in an interview soon immediately after their engagement that Prince Harry proposed while they were cooking a roast chicken at household one night.
