Nesting dolls

“Worlds In,” the second part of ESSE Purse Museum’s a few-component short-term show, “The Collector’s Collection,” opens today at the museum, 1510 Principal St., Minimal Rock. The exhibition, up via Jan. 9, gives an introduction to matryoshki, also known as nesting dolls. Hrs are 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. ‘Art of a Live Show’

Musician Damen Tolbert, a faculty member at the College of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, will guide the Arkansas Arts Council’s next digital GetSmART! workshop, “The Art of a Reside Display,” covering how to set together a thriving, reside-tunes event, 10 a.m.-noon Monday. “Admission” is free advance registration is needed, at bit.ly/3nMHyx8. ‘Our Town’ auditions

Argenta Group Theater, 405 Most important Road, North Minor Rock, will hold auditions, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and 6-8 p.m. Sunday for “Our Town” by Thornton Wilder. Auditions will consist of readings from the script director Ben Grimes recommends studying the play and starting to be acquainted with the character(s) for whom you program to attempt out. Sides (pages from the script) will be obtainable at the audition. Components are offered for actors of all ages the theater seeks a varied ensemble of actors of all races, ethnicities, genders and ages. The Arkansas Marching Arts Association seeks sponsorships for its 2022 indoor marching season, which begins in February.
