Frontier Airlines plane emergency lands in North Carolina following odor-related event

A Frontier Airlines plane designed an emergency landing at Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) in North Carolina Saturday out of an abundance of warning after an odor-connected incident.

“Previously these days, Frontier Airways Flight 1159 from Norfolk to Orlando skilled a fume/odor celebration. Out of an abundance of caution, the aircraft diverted to Raleigh-Durham, and each travellers and crew exited the plane via evacuation slides,” a spokesperson for Frontier Airlines told Fox Information.

The spokesperson added that no accidents to travellers or crew were reported and there was no sign of a hearth aboard the plane.

“All passengers are safely and securely inside of the airport terminal, and the airline is in the approach of finalizing preparations to get them to their last places,” the spokesperson extra.
