Ice-T Remembers Path Not Taken in Memoir ‘Split Decision’ | Entertainment News

NEW YORK (AP) — Ice-T has never overlooked the route his life might have taken.

The rapper and actor has a deal with Gallery Books for the memoir “Split Decision,” in which Ice-T and his childhood close friend, determined only as Spike, glance back again on their time as associates in jewelry heists in LA and somewhere else. Spike ended up in prison whilst Ice-T went on to fame as a musician and for his roles in “New Jack City” and the Television series “Law & Buy: SVU” amid many others. Gallery, a division of Simon & Schuster, will publish the e book July 19, 2022.

“I grew up in a extremely terrible established of situation and my trajectory was that of a dangerous vocation legal, not a famed actor and musician,” Ice-T claimed in a statement Tuesday. “It was one split selection that set me on a beneficial path that transformed my lifestyle forever.”

Spike, who invested much more than 20 many years in jail prior to his launch in 2016, mentioned in a statement that the guide was a story “of transform, redemption and solidarity.”

“I hope we will inspire audience — in particular at-threat youth — about the ripple results of all our decisions,” he mentioned.
