Keke Palmer will star in Jordan Peele’s new horror film.

The 27-year-old actress is the first star to be officially cast in the untitled film, although Daniel Kaluuya of ‘Get Out’ is expected to get involved in the project in the near future.

Jesse Plemons has also been linked to a role in the upcoming film, but at the moment a scheduling conflict prevents him from joining the cast.

Although the details of the plot remain a closely guarded secret for the Untitled project, Keke is poised to act as the movie’s antagonist, according to Collider.

The film is based on a script by Jordan and he will co-produce the film with Ian Cooper under his Monkeypaw Productions banner.

The horror film is slated for release in July 2022.

In the meantime, Jordan previously admitted that he was initially reluctant to cast Daniel in “Get Out”.

The 41-year-old filmmaker was unsure whether it was right to have a British actor star in the film, which tells the story of an African American man who visits his Caucasian girlfriend’s parents on a weekend getaway.

Previously, he said, “I didn’t want to go with a British actor because this film was so much about portraying the African American experience. Early on, Daniel and I had a Skype session where we talked about it and I was done to understand how universal this problem is. “

However, after some thought, Jordan realized that Daniel was perfect for the role.

He said, “After studying the universality of these issues, it was easy for me to choose Daniel because at the end of the day he was the best person for the role.

“He did the audition and it was a slam dunk.”
