Rachel Bilson has apologized to a former “The OC” co-star for her past behavior.

The 39-year-old actress and her co-stars were directed by Tate Donovan – who also played Jimmy Cooper on the series – for an episode in season three, and Tate had previously admitted that the cast was “very difficult to edit” over time and claimed they didn’t want to do the show anymore.

He previously said, “They just didn’t want to do the show anymore. It was pretty difficult; it was very difficult to work with … But you know how it is with young actors – and I know because I was one of them once. When you get some success you want to do something else. “

And in response to the comments, Rachel said, “I hope I wasn’t as bad as it turned out. I hope I wasn’t – because I really, you know, am influenced by your surroundings, I would say.

“Tate was such a wonderful director and an amazing person and all. So if I ever did anything I want to apologize on record.”

Tate, who was seen on the “Willkommen im OC B ******” podcast in addition to the actress, insisted that he accept Rachel’s apology and call her a “total sweetheart” on the show.

Meanwhile, Rachel previously admitted that she was “more than ready” to be part of a reboot of “The OC” because she has such “fond memories” of it.

She said, “You know, I think there is always this discussion and people saying if they want it and what not. I don’t know. It’s difficult to figure out where everyone would go. I’m sure there are Places to go I’m sure they could come up with a whole new class of things.

“I don’t know, you know? It’s one of those things that’s hard to be around like, do you want to touch this or do you want to leave it as it is? But I know Melinda [Clarke] and I both said that we would of course be more than willing to revisit such a beautiful memory. “
