On Tuesday, Gosar posted another tweet, this time a lengthy screed in which he accused detractors of “gross mischaracterization” and claimed, without irony, “I do not espouse violence or damage to any Member of Congress or Mr. Biden.”

Gosar then claimed the movie was only depicting “a battle between lawful and illegal guidelines and in no way supposed to be a qualified assault against Agent Cortez or Mr. Biden.”

He added: “It is a symbolic cartoon. It is not actual lifetime. Congressman Gosar can not fly. The hero of the cartoon goes just after the monster, the policy monster of open borders. This online video is really a symbolic portrayal of a battle over immigration policy.”
