Supercharged Entertainment is gearing up to open its doors in Edison. The indoor entertainment center, located at 987 Route 1, held a ribbon-cutting Dec. 15 and moved its official opening day to Dec. 19.

The 131,000-square-foot venue features a multilevel, 80,000-square foot go-kart area – billed as the largest in the world; 19 lanes of Luxury Axe Throwing; a two-story arcade and gaming area featuring nearly 160 games; a two-story Drop & Twist Tower that spins, drops and passes through all floors of the venue; and a Bionic Bumper Cars arena.

During a media day tour, the company said it will employ about 550 people and, in addition to entertainment for the whole family, will be available for corporate outings, business happy hours and more.

More details of Supercharged Entertainment Edison will be featured on NJBIZ.com, but here’s a sneak peek of some of the fun.
