Texas deputy killed, 2 more injured in ‘ambush’ attack

3 Harris County, Texas deputies who had been shot in an “ambush attack” early Saturday morning that remaining a single of them lifeless, have been determined.

Constable Mark Herman declared the identities in a post shared to Facebook.

“Deputies Atkins, Garrett, and Barthen are correct legislation enforcement heroes that were being cowardly ambushed when serving and preserving their local community,” Herman explained of the incident.
