Cold winter temperatures are finally subsiding, making it fairly enjoyable to be outside again. While many students may be heading home for Easter weekend, there are a variety of outdoor events those staying in Fayetteville can take advantage of. But in case recent rainy weather continues, the Arkansas Traveler also has you covered with indoor event options. 

FRIDAY

The Razorback softball team will compete in a three-day matchup against Kentucky starting at 6 p.m. Friday. The other two games will also take place at Bogle Park and are scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday and  11 a.m. Sunday.

It is opening weekend for “The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity” at TheatreSquared. The drama-comedy hybrid follows a professional wrestler who is driven by the American dream. The production, set in a wrestling ring, tackles racism, politics and more. Individuals wishing to attend can purchase tickets on TheatreSquared’s website. The show runs through May 8. 

The Mount Sequoyah Center will host its April Supper Club: Spring Swing at 7 p.m. Friday. The event will feature a brief dance lesson, live music performed by The Swade Diablos, and food catered by Mockingbird Kitchen. To register for the event, visit Mount Sequoyah’s website.

SATURDAY

The staff of Eden’s Flower Truck will present a “Tulips & Tequila” event 1-3 p.m. Saturday. For $45, attendees can enjoy their own mini bottle of Patron while participating in a flower arranging workshop with all supplies provided. Individuals must be 21 years old to register online

The Great Divide performs at George’s Majestic Lounge on Saturday. Tickets for the concert are $20 and rise to $25 the day of the event. Doors open at 7 p.m., with music beginning at 8:30. For more information or purchase tickets, go to George’s Majestic Lounge’s website

Queer NWA will host a Diversity Drag Fundraiser 6-11 p.m. Saturday at the Fayetteville Town Center. The show will feature 11 performers, 26 vendors and music by DJ Susie Q. To read more about the event and purchase tickets, visit Eventbrite.

It’s opening week for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, who kicked off their season Wednesday. Every day through Sunday, ballpark attendees can enjoy a different select perk, including concession stand deals and giveaways.
