There are many perks to being a Fashion Spouse, and the strong likelihood of your partner looking cool at all times is only one of them.
If you are the Academy Award-nominated actor Jesse Plemons, who is married to the Academy Award-nominated actress and perennial fashion darling Kirsten Dunst, being a Fashion Spouse may also mean a fun couple’s getaway to Paris, and a front-row seat to the Dior couture show.
The couple—who met back in 2015 on the set of the FX series Fargo, and last year received his-and-hers Oscar noms for their co-starring roles in Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog—attended the presentation over the weekend. Dunst wore a ruffle-front shirt, brown suede trousers, and suspenders, while Plemons went with a sober-but-lovely dark wool suit. In other words, an exemplary Fashion Spouse outfit pairing.

And though Plemons’s history of critically acclaimed acting roles has made for plenty of opportunities to wear a suit and tie, this appears to be his first Fashion Week. There’s no shame in the Fashion Spouse game—remember when the country star Keith Urban tagged along to see his wife, Nicole Kidman, walk in the Balenciaga couture show last summer?
