Previous Lawyer Basic William Barr reportedly warned Donald Trump months just before he shed reelection that Republican suburban voters “think you are an asshole.”
That’s according to Enterprise Insider, which obtained an early duplicate of “Peril,” the new book by Washington Publish journalists Bob Woodward and Robert Costa. In a person passage, the book describes Barr making an attempt to give Trump valuable campaign advice by telling him that these suburban voters don’t care about his “fucking grievances,” Business Insider claims.
In the blunt Oval Office environment meeting in April 2020, Barr reportedly urged the president to target on the nationwide response to COVID-19 and the financial restoration, and “not all this other shit, not every grievance you have.”
