Fantasy need to know: The Sky’s next two games will show how far James Wade’s team still has to go. Chicago will be without Kahleah Copper, Julie Allemand and Li Yueru. Candace Parker, Courtney Vandersloot, and Emma Meesseman have been the top fantasy options on the Sky so far this season and Dana Evans (71.4% available) is also a good streamer to consider. She has averaged 14.7 PPG, 2.7 APG, 1.3 RPG and 1.3 SPG in 27 MPG. Rebekah Gardner has averaged 22.5 fantasy PPG since she entered the starting lineup.
The Storm were seen as a title contenders entering the season, but a 1-3 start might be cause for worry. Seattle has been without Breanna Stewart and Epiphanny Prince the last two games, leaving Jewell Loyd (34 fantasy PPG) to carry the load. Stephanie Talbot (87.3% available), also benefits from Stewart’s absence. She has averaged 22 fantasy PPG over the past two games. While Ezi Magbegor (41.6% available) continues to be involved in the Seattle’s rotation, she has only averaged 8.8 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 0.8 APG, 1.8 SPG, and 3.0 BPG. It remains to be seen if Stewart and Prince play tonight, but the Storm need all the help they can get. — Eric Moody
Best bet: Sky -3.5. Even if the Storm are healthy, I expect the Sky to prevail. Chicago (93.8) ranks second in defensive rating and will succeed in slowing down the Storm’s offense. — Moody
